7.6 Dividend percentage
The dividend percentage is simply the dividend per share related to the share price. As an investor, it can be interesting to evaluate the development of the dividend percentage over several years.
The calculation will be as follows:
dividend pay-out per share divided by the share price of the stock ( using the price at the beginning of the year) multiplied by 100.
